Amazing stuff. The director really earned their wage with that tour-de-force.

I remember it being a little underwhelming. Wanted to love it as it's Gosling and Winding Refn again but doesn't quite hit the highs of Drive.
Still a good film that's worth a watch, Gosling's character is almost like an evolution of the one he plays in Drive.
I do like a daft nazi horror fillum so gave this a go.
It's an odd exercise watching this, you can write a story and a script, and cast competent actors, get a director that knows how to frame a shot at least squarely, put pre and post production in place, effects, soundtrack all the rest.
For the most part you get a fillum of varying quality, and sometimes you get something like this - its just not a film - all those elements just completely fail to come together, its just people with a camera pointed at them speaking lines to each other. Quite odd, not terrible, just not really a film.

Agreed, 3 is deffo the best, closely followed by 4 IMO.

I think this was discussed here recently but just watched the Dark Knight again. For me the best film of that sort of genre since Terminator 2. Hugely ambitious and almost faultless. Has several set pieces that would be stand alone classics in most films.
Watched Batman Begins first which is very decent but doesn’t come close. Probs watch that Bane one next which I remember enjoying at the time but is a lot sillier if I remember right.
