...thought Richard Jewell was ok on Sky. I tend to enjoy Clint Eastwood produced films and this was no different.

Just watched Mile 22 on Netflix. Another of these niche-genre films: Righteous team of well-trained/well-equipped experts need to get important asset to specified location. Lots of well-produced gratuitous violence and action. Eminently watchable for what it is.

Just watched Greenland, damn that was actually really good.

I wasn't expecting much given what Butler usually shows up in these days, but I'd say it's probably more on par with something like World War Z in terms of quality.

I actually watched Den of Thieves with him in for the first time a few weeks ago. I thought it wasn’t bad given most of the tosh he’s been in

Charles Bronson chases down a butt-naked psycho while the films message rails against the wishy-washy leftists and liberals who positively relish allowing psychos and scumbags free reign over all that is good and decent.

Does kind of lose it's moral righteousness by leering over and constantly revisiting every image of the (usually topless) murder victims, reminding the viewer of how "easy" these type of women are and doing optical somersaults to ensure the naked psycho's penis never appears on screen too clearly (certainly not as clear as the naked women) but that's par for the course with this kind of clunky one dimensional simplistic moralising style of movie making.

And as averse as I am to that kind of thing it's still a fine example of a lot of Cannon Films budget conscious early eighties stuff - all kinds of wrong but still stupidly entertaining.

just watched it as well, thought it was pretty decent. better than expected. solid 7/10.

Fancying myself as a creature of culture and discernment I watched the Blob. Fine acting on show, but I have to say the Blob gave Steve McQueen a good run for his money.

I couldn't tell if I liked it or hated it. Certaintly was a "horror" as advertised.

Watched the Hunt. Was quite a controversial movie when it came out, though I have to say I don't see why. It's a bit of fun. Surprisingly enjoyable and great lead performance from Betty Gilpin (reminds me of Toni Colette.)
