Last Film You Watched

I couldn't tell if I liked it or hated it. Certaintly was a "horror" as advertised.
I knew it wasnt horror, just not that into the whole Marvel genre,it worked as a stand alone movie though not one I'd watch again, also watched "Love & Monsters" that was an easy watch, basically something happens that creates a mutation in insects and people live in underground colonies, the creatures are decent,a story thats not complicated to follow so you can kust sit back and watch

Might check out Love & Monsters later.

Watched the Hunt. Was quite a controversial movie when it came out, though I have to say I don't see why. It's a bit of fun. Surprisingly enjoyable and great lead performance from Betty Gilpin (reminds me of Toni Colette.)

I thought you meant the Mads Mikkelsen film with the same name until you mention Betty Gilpin and you blew my mind lol

Arkansas - new out on Netflix.

Great cast and watches like a cross between a Tarrantino and Fargo.

Tale of two level Akansas drug dealers and all that follows.

Despite the great cast, it falls a bit flat.

Have you watched Wildling on Netflix? Watched it yesterday, its a take on the werewolf story, not sure if I liked it or not, starts off really well then kind of fades out

Only God Forgives

Looks very good, sensational in parts, but there wasn't much substance there despite it's pretensions.

I'm a big fan of Ryan Gosling's moody silent acting style but the way it's completely overdone in this you can't for one second believe his character functions in any useful way as part of any organisation, let alone a hugely profitable drug smuggling ring. Makes his Drive character look like John Candy in Planes, Trains and Automobiles.
