'Underwater'
Its like if Alien was set at the bottom of the ocean and had much worse characters. If anyone has played the game Subnautica, it has similar vibes. It was okay overall but could/should have been better imo.

Watched the Eurovision film on Netflix... it was OK, except 2+ hours is a bit long for tat; 90 mins would have been plenty for that sort of thing. McAdams was good in it.

Greyhound - Tom Hanks' WW2 Naval Commander assigned the lead of an Allied convoy during a crossing of The Atlantic.

The scale of a naval scenario like this works against the film and it doesn't always do a good job of presenting the lay of the land...or sea in this case.

The decision to have the score drowning out dialogue during already noisy scenes doesn't help and given the large amount of very noticeable CGI at play I think the director could have made a better fist of showing how the various ships and U-Boats were positioned.

Some fairly good set-pieces but remains pretty average overall.

I finally saw Once Upon a Time in Hollywood and I greatly enjoyed it. As a big Sharon Tate fan (she was genuinely gorgeous imo) I wish the real life events ran parallel to the scenario presented in the movie.
By the by, the Cielo Drive murders occurred exactly 1 week before Woodstock kicked off
I agree. A friend of mine was disappointed with the
rewriting of history, but I found it very satisfying to see Sharon Tate survive and the Manson family getting the crap kicked out of them. It's only once you see the "fairy-tale" ending that the title really makes sense. I've read more than enough about the Manson murders to want to see Tate's brutal murder re-enacted on screen,
so I thought Tarantino got it spot on.

That tin of dog food. Absolutely brutal!

Old guard on Netflix,it was ok decent storyline but didnt really give the characters much background to go with the reasons behind the story,6/7 out of 10
