Last Film You Watched

Loved this. I'd seen Strickland's previous films, but this was the first one that really clicked for me. The whole 70s Euro feel was great... if you haven't already seen it, The Duke of Burgundy is worth a look. Not quite as good as In Fabric, but still interesting.

I'll put it on the list alongside Berberian Sound Studio. The list keeps getting longer even though I've been watching two films a day recently

The gentlemen. Not sure what to make of it. Guy Richie is a fairly gash film maker I think. Hugh Grant steals the show though.

Saw that at the cinema on my monthly pass and quite enjoyed it but I'd have been miffed if I'd paid a tenner for a ticket to see it.

You get the impression that Guy Ritchie is pretty talentless but wings it with decent actors.

True Grit - 2010 version

Coen Brothers, Kurt Russell and Roger Deakin so it was bound to be good. Add a brilliant debut from Hailee Steinfeld and Matt Damon on fine form and it's superb.

Time to hunt,currently on Netflix,four teens rob a casino owned by the mob,couple of hours long and it takes a while to really get going but is a decent watch
