Good god man!!! Jeff Bridges from 'The Big Lebowski'!!!!!
For realism? K-19.
Das Boot is excellent, Red October would get played every patrol, as it is fun. The US Sub scenes are very accurate, as they got actual sub sailors to play the roles. They even put Scott Glenn underway shadowing a real CO for a couple of weeks to further authenticate his performance.
Hostile Waters is another great sub movie.
Crimson Tide is not a good sub movie, or movie in general. So many things wrong with it, it really takes a dump on the silent service.
Das Boot - original German version with subtitles for me.
I don't think another submarine film has ever captured the claustrophobia and sheer terror when under attack.
It's such a good film, as it manages to blend so much into one film.
Even though they are hunting and destroying allied shipping, you identify with the U boat crew and want them to survive.
One of my most watched films and the book is even better.
The ending still gets to me.
Both classics.Watched 'The Terminator' with the eldest last night.
Still a brilliant movie, and more importantly, he gave it a big thumbs up.
T2 Judgement Day on the cards tonight!!
I am counting down to it!! Going to see it on my own if I have to!Both classics.
Talking of classics, new Predator out very soon - Predators.
Looks good !I am counting down to it!! Going to see it on my own if I have to!
Predator is my favorite action/"sci fi"-film ever. Always exciting getting a new one. I stay away from trailers tho, so haven't got a clue what to expect.
Just seen it and I completely agree. Great filmMISSION IMPOSSIBLE - FALLOUT
INCREDIBLE Movie and it has everything an action film needs.
Best since the first Mission Impossible.
See it in IMAX if you can because it's spectacular
The follow on with Danny Glover wasn't too bad, but lacked the suspense.Nothing will ever beat the original, everything was garbage
