Blade Runner in preparation to watch 2049. Not as slow as I last remember and still a breathtaking piece of cinematography. Especially when you take into account how old the film is.

Questions have arisen from this though, how do they get around Ford ageing 40 years in just 20 in the follow up? And should he be locked up for basically being the genesis of why we have the #MeToo movement now. Or is it ok as she was just an android?

Gone baby gone, really enjoyed it, plenty of twists. Think he's a good actor but I find it hard to understand Cases Affleck sometimes.

Thought Ed Harris was brilliant in it.

A good laugh and really enjoyed it, but one thing puzzles me. Why do some British films look like you're watching through
a tinted window. So dull and grey. I remember the Bryden - Coogan movie, The Trip was the same.

The film with no plot and great actors robbing a living you meant!

I think there`s a degree of poetic licence to a certain extent with his age mate, as it just wouldn`t work if he was in his eighties.

With regards to Rachel, it will become much clearer once you`ve watched 2049.

I feared the worse with 2049 mate, but if they`d put a Vangelis soundtrack with it, it`d be every bit as good as the original.

2049 is a magnificent film mate and if you can watch it by yourself, as it works better with full attention.

Wasnt massively enamoured with Black Panther, but now I know the director is a blue..

More of a documentary but I'm watching LA 92 on netflix, it's harrowing but very compelling. It's a montage of footage of the beating of Rodney king, the trial of the police officers and the riots that followed their acquittal.
