Just watched the 2008 film - Gomorah, that came as a result of the book, but before the series.

Fantastic stuff, watches more like a documentary that a film, running five threads on different areas of Mafia activities in Naples, at the same time.

Pulls no punches and I found the cinematography in and around the slums of Naples stunning.

Recommended.

Have you seen Suburra the movie and the series....its very, very good....

Watched Molly's Game last night. Thought it was very good. Jessica Chastain is the new Julianne Moore.

She`s actually much better looking and deffo should be in the " Gingers I`d smash " hall of fame.

So you're saying she's ugly? if so, I agree....weird resting lip also.

Jumanji. I laughed about 3 times, a bog average film saved from being crap by The Rock and Kevin Hart

Its a standard flick, however the whole cinema was laughing most of the film.

That amused me.

I see Joey Billboards is up to his old tricks FFS lol lol
Hope my great views on 3 Billboards has not put it on the back burner @COYBL25 If you have two plus hours to waste have a go you may Love it - it won the oscars came 2nd very good acting those billboards should have got gongs too disgusted with that!lol
It does have rave review, still say a poor Coen brothers rip off!
Others may like it ?

5) Lion - Now then, I'm 42. I've NEVER cried at a film before (excluding Pixar's Up - but that cheats and just hits you like a freight train of grief out of nowhere at the start). Man alive, this thing had me in bits. My forehead hurt from trying to resist. Proper heart string tugger. Great rendition of a true story and an amazing performance from the little kid who plays the lead for the first 2/3 of the flick. Good film. Will not watch again.

6) The Foreigner - this is more like it. Jackie Chan vs Gerry Adams. The showdown we've all been waiting for over the years. In fairness, it's not as bad as it could have been. It's not great by a long stretch, but a 60 year old Jackie Chan both playing and behaving like a 60+ year old Jackie Chan elevates it above what it could have been. Best thing I've seen Pierce Brosnan in probably since The Matador too. Worth a look if you've got nowt else to do on a Wednesday evening.
