Lacina Traore

I dont see the excitement that martinez thinks he is bringing to the fans with these sorts of things.

So when we play Hull on the last game of the season we can play
Gibson (clearly wont get in ahead of our current),
Traore (played one game in god knows how long, clearly not going to play)
Kone (surely behind Traore as even less match fitness)
Oviedo (wishful thinking)

So really none of the returning injured are even going to be first choice over our current players.

Imagine if we had those 4 available now though? You would be looking at 4th and saying that's ours for the taking.

And Kone would have won us the spurs game, not arsed he seems the type to score in those games.

He doesnt think he is bringing excitement to the fans, he is looking at the only positive side of this as he always will. I still find it refreshing and despite the usual moaning on here its still the best way to be. I dont know of any managers that would come out and say I messed up there with that signing! (having said that i dont want to hear a positive spin on a neg net spend in the summer if it happens again)

And any fit and able body coming back will be a boost and a bonus to a tiring squad especially if we still have a shout for 5th at least and the Cup.

By the time Troare is passed by the doctors he will still need to get back to match fitness by which time the season will be at an end.

I guess we couldn't persuade Monaco to take him back then... otherwise I don't see the point in keeping him.

What the point in keeping him? He'll be fit just in time for the last 2/3 games of the season which will probably be meaningless. Got a feeling he'll be here next season sadly.

He's the 2014 Amo!!Believe me,he'll wander on the pitch for the injured Lukaku, when Martinez wants the physio to give him two minutes to see if he's ok, and fire us to glory/win us the cup in May!!

It hasn't worked out as he has picked up an injury. Had that not have happened, who knows what the boy could have done. But that's just what happens in football. He might have been boss, he might have been terrible. While it's gutting to lose money on wages to a boy we might not get anything/much from, that's the risk in football.
