you can't say he's a worse signing than kone because one got injured straight away and the other got injured after one match.

We did have a striker Barry kicked him. Are you saying we should have blew our budget in Jan? Kept Jelavic? Played Vellios? I´ll give you the Liverpool one but the other two was just bad luck.Goalies in form and bad free kicks .

Im saying BEFORE Lukaku got injured we should have been planning for an injury to Lukaku, we then got an injury to Lukaku and we loaned an injured Striker, thus meaning when Lukaku got injured we didnt have a Striker.

We did but Martinez would not play him.I think ,as I´ve already said ,he took a punt .and was unlucky . I would really rather buy in the summer then in Jan , lets face it Jan is not the best time . I would have kept Jelavic as cover but it´s done . Lets hope Lukaku finds some form and stays fit .

Debacle? Behave! His current injury is not related to the niggle he had when we signed him, you know? We could easily have spent £10 million on a striker, and there's no guarantee he would not have got injured...

I agree with all that you say here, but the difference being that outlaying some cash for a permanent signing would send a very different message. I'll qualify that with the fact that there was slim pickings in the last window though.
