They really should be at the very least 10 points ahead though. The most useless Conservative government in modern history, led by the most incompetent PM in history, with the backdrop of the Brexit shambles and Windrush. The Tories have barely anything they can campaign on as a success at this point.

1997 saw Labour have universal 25-30 point leads over the Tories and there was half as much to take advantage of back then. It really shouldn't be remotely close right now.

I've a sneaking suspicion Corbyn isn't fluent in Arabic,if he did lay a wreath.It could have been on the grave of Palestinians murdered by the Israelis,or that of one or some of those held responsible by the Israelis (who were in fact executed without trial) for the Munich kidnappings and murders.He would not have been aware of who was interred there in either case.....Anyway back to the Brexit debacle.

They don't change their allegiances they kowtow to the current government, they can be left wing and still have to satisfy whoever is in power, the two aren't mutually exclusive.

Like I said, a left wing party has not been in power in Britain for 40 years, if ever. Blair's Labour party were not a left wing part, pursued no left wing policies so why would the BBC be kowtowing to a non-existent left wing party of power.

Jesus why are people so pedantic , maybe my terminology was wrong but at the highest levels they must play ball with the sitting govt. They have hundreds of managers and employees the vast majority of who are left wing - that was clear when I worked there.

Time to stop making excuses for him - hes a parliamentarian and should be held to a higher standard. Remember Corbyn is the man who stood silent during the national anthem at the Battle of Britain; no one forces him to do anything.

As for the fact that the Black September terrorists were killed without trail; have some understanding of the context of the situation. The Munich Olympics was a sense of national pride for Israelis as they were marching on German soil. They then were held hostage, tortured and killed as Jews around the world had to watch Jews be murdered on German land again. Forgive them for not offering known terrorists a fair trial.

Known terrorists to whom? Would that include the 25 Palestinian children murdered this year alone?
