Time to stop making excuses for him - hes a parliamentarian and should be held to a higher standard. Remember Corbyn is the man who stood silent during the national anthem at the Battle of Britain; no one forces him to do anything.

As for the fact that the Black September terrorists were killed without trail; have some understanding of the context of the situation. The Munich Olympics was a sense of national pride for Israelis as they were marching on German soil. They then were held hostage, tortured and killed as Jews around the world had to watch Jews be murdered on German land again. Forgive them for not offering known terrorists a fair trial.

Again though, the question over whether these men were anything to do with Munich is a very real one. The Israelis did not kill three of the four - centrism's Saddam Hussein did (probably) - and the fourth was killed in circumstances that strongly suggest there were other reasons why he was killed.

Corbyn 1 - 0 Media/Blairites/Zionists

I hope it sets a precedent that people like it when you speak the truth.

I want to see a more combative Labour Party, one that directly targets the elites in a way that can build widespread consent, ergo:

Your kids have a right to free education, and Amazon will pay for it.

Or:

When you get old and infirm, we will treat you with the respect and dignity you deserve, because the bankers will no longer get away with it.

Oh my, he stood silent during the national anthem, what a brute

Upcoming NEC elections should see a strengthening of Corbyn and weakening of the Progress group of snides. That'll give the left a lot of scope in what they propose in the next manifesto and also usher in rules concerning LP leadership elections and party democracy in general.

I have to say, having witnessed the final two years of his previous "God that Failed", @davek reviving the Martinez act as Stakhanovite Corbyn ultra is not exactly reassuring... ; )

It is possible for Corbyn to simultaneously have been Labour's salvation in 2017 AND unable to take the party much further forward.

Politics here have not entirely deteriorated into grotesque WWE simulacra, like in America. The leader is ultimately no more than a vessel for the policies, not vice versa, and as such, their value derives primarily from their ability to deliver. It's important not to lose sight of this just because Corbyn irks the right enemies. And it is not at all certain that a different leader wouldn't be a more effective champion of the same policy agenda.

Corbyn has earned a shot at another election - no less, but also no more.

Regardless of how one feels about the anti-semitism kerfuffle, it is difficult to argue that Corbyn has effectively dealt with the problem or articulated a clear defence of Labour's stance. Cynical, partisan exploitation of the issue was always a given in British politics, and whinging that the opposition and the media aren't observing Marquess of Queensberry Rules is not just lame, but politically pointless.

After all, if Corbyn's agenda is truly the radical threat to the establishment, capitalism, the deep state, Her Majesty, the illuminati, natural law, gravity and God that both his disciples and adversaries insist, and not just a souped-up and more sincere version of the Red Ed manifesto (which the same people who one minute hail his revolutionary fervour will also maintain in different contexts), then as Prime Minister he is certainly going to face vastly more concerted, energetic and sustained opposition than the storm-in-the-teacup we've seen so far over the IHRA list.

Britain has just committed arguably the dumbest political act anywhere in the West since at least the Second World War, and, even setting Brexit aside, barely able to keep up the pretense that it still belongs in the developed world.

It is in desperate, desperate need of sweeping reforms.

And at the moment, there's litlte about Labour's inability to stop scoring media-facilitated own-goals, or, come election time, to manage more than a Frankenstein Lib Dem-Green-SNP coalition against the most contemptible and inept Tories for generations, which merits enthusiasm that it can actually deliver what the country requires.

What exactly are you so enraged about?

Here is a man who has spent his entire life ‘honouring’ those who would do harm, while pretending he is a man of peace. He is now lying through his teeth about an event that was photographed and to which he himself referred in print. He is a man that refuses to condemn attacks upon his own Jewish mp’s and seeks to change an internationally recognised form of words describing anti-semitism possibly because he could actually fall foul of it. I wouldn’t mind if he just admitted it and said that that’s what he believes in. But he doesn’t, he tells porkies...... Politics may we’ll be a nasty game, but surely we should expect some level of decency......Now, without mentioning any other political party or person, can you explain how he is showing decency, honesty, or even political nous in this affair.......

Mate, no one cares about a load of Zionists running round pissing their pants. The media do, but the British public couldn't give a flying one. It has zero cut through in voting terms, unless you live in Golders Green, I suppose.
