It was mainly in jest tbf lad. The worrying thing is, can you actually say with your hand on heart that any of Keane, Zouma and Mina can organise a defence as well as Jagielka can (which, ironically, Jagielka isn't particularly good at either).

Just the way that article reads, that Silva always had him in mind and Silva decided he wanted him on the last day. Hopefully it was just compromise due to them bothe being new but I don't want the managers involved if we have a DoF, we seen what happened last time.

Yeah, obviously it's possible, if not why's the manager picking players. If Brands is the guy, managers should get what they are given, isn't that the idea now to have continuity?

I’d quite happily bank that £50m and spend it on players that will improve the team.

I like Zouma and currently think he is our best CB. Hoping Mina comes through OK but cannot really see Michael Keane getting any better pace or being able to turn faster anytime soon.

When you put it like that its very scary. However if we don't sign them we still need players so I suppose its whether they fit the system. Back in November both players were being praised you don't become bad over night.
