Zouma has everything to be a great defender physically, big strong and blinding quick. Unfortunately defending is much much more than physical attributes, i get the Yobo comparisons because he was prone to some stupid stuff too but honestly Zoumas decision making is like Yobo after a frontal lobotomy

Zouma is still learning and is at least two or three years away from his peak.

I think the fact he signed a six year deal last season tied with Chelsea’s business model would probably have made us look elsewhere as the price wouldn’t have been right. This ban has just made it a poor situation for each party concerned in my opinion.

A shame though as he is a talented player
