I still struggle to believe that 4 nil game and I was there.

That third goal is still one of the most ridiculous goals I've seen. Somebody with no pace running the length of the pitch and dinking the keeper.

Think that was the end for a lot of City players that day.

That's why he spent £100m on the fast full backs he could get.

Honestly that was a fluke game. If they didn't have a hologram in goal it would have been a different story. He dined out on that win for a long time but yeh agree on the transfer window. Absolute travesty, from his system to his transfer plan he was utterly clueless. Would have loved to see him at Barca to see him fail on an astronomical scale.
Who was in charge of the transfers that window. Seemed like him and Walsh were just each doing their own thing. Bizarre.

I can't remember where I read this rumour, but I can remember hearing that by the time he was sacked none of the backroom staff could stand the sight of him

Sold Lukaku, Stones, Deulofeu for Rooney, Williams, and Bolasie.

Put him to be bed.

I hate the bugger but in fairness Stones was always going, a whole year before Koeman came.....and Lukaku always seemed to be looking for a way out.

Nowt he could have done to stop those two leaving IMO.

Deulofeu was the one major transfer out he himself instigated.....a move made even stupider because it happened after his “replacement” had injured himself against the Mancs and was ruled out for a year.

Even more than the duds he bought, letting Del go was the worst bit of business during Koemangeddon.

He Had no intention of making a go of it

Nope, he sure hadn’t.

Even from day one....when he wouldn’t interrupt his holiday to fly back and sign in a fanfare of trumpets.

It started off on a bad footing and went downhill from there.

Remember the first, might have been the second, international break that season when he said Lukaku should move on if he wanted to better himself?

Koeman might not, marginally, be the worst manager we ever had.....but by ‘eck he is far an away the most hateful.

Even more so than Sam.

Can't believe that anyone still thinks he'd have turned it around. That 2017/18 was an unmitigated disaster. I can't think of anything positive from it. The constant battering by the top teams. We never had that even in the worst days of Walter Smith. Fat Sam, for all his faults, at least stabilised us. It really seemed like we were going down by the end of Koeman.
And how did we finish 8th? Was the PL so bad that season? It really felt like the worst Everton in decades.

It's just the calibre of replacements that's the issue. Not the players going.

Absolutely shocking.

Heard on the radio pep had agreed to be man city manager , he text sterling when he was struggling, he said I got your back , when i get there me and you are going to do wonderful things together .
Koeman books a holiday and publicly tells everyone Barkley and delofeu have to apply themselves better then goes for a round of golf, if he's Barca bound I will eat my arse.

Is everything alright buddy?Could you please stop following me around different threads, making snide and personal remarks. This behaviour is bordering on harassment.

Everything could not be better with me 'Buddy'

I've got better things to do than follow you around sonny, me making snide and personal remarks, no just pointing out your embelishments and untruths, as for harrasment, how about these barbed comments from you towards another poster, once again your hypocrisy knows no bounds, happy to keep on vaulting, here's one or two to keep you going. Have a nice night 'Buddy'

I think poor @HongKongToffee strikes me as a person, who doesn't get out much.It looks like he could do with finding a girlfriend or something.Maybe if he loses his virginity, he might grow up a bit. What a sad sad man.
I doubt he has any friends or family tbh.He strikes me as a proper loner and hermit.:) Ha ha ha i'd say posting those pics, was the highlight of his life. What a loser.
Has @HongKongToffee self destructed like the now thankfully departed the brace yet?I tell you what short of using photoshop, there will be no reds putting up pictures on here, of an rs captain lifting the premiership trophy any time soon.:p They lost the league at Goodison!lol

If there is issues with my conduct, then the mods can speak to me anytime about it.As far as im aware, you have been warned a couple of times, with regards to your behaviour towards me.

His mis-management of Everton, for me, has tainted his good name and reputation in football. He's no longer one of the Dutch greats. Just a scruffy mess who allowed our club to be financially hamstrung due to his ineptitude in identifying and signing players and working with the so-called Director of Football. Probably why he's actually doing well for Holland, as he doesn't need to scout and sign players, rather just pick a squad of the best-performing Dutch players and then make a first xi out of it, which basically picks itself anyway.

There’s Koeman the player and there’s Koeman the manager. He’s one of the greatest defenders ever, and probably the best attacking central defender ever. Watching that Cruyff Barcelona team, Koeman was one of the attacking stars of the team, which is extraordinary for a central defender. Same for the Dutch national team. Then there’s the memorable commentary from the great Brian Moore on his free kick vs England,

“He’s gonna flick one now. He’s gonna flick one. He’s gonna flick one. And it’s in.”

Lukaku could have gone to the bad with us and then we'd never have got anything like what we did for him.
