Koeman

I was skeptical about him but thought based on his time at Soton he might have been suitable for us.

As we all know, he was a disaster and I don't think he cared one bit about the club progressing or not.

He was part-time from the start with a very cavalier attitude.

Him deciding not to break his holiday when appointed was the two fingers right from the off though, that really was awful form and not something that would be accepted at a big club.

He should have gone right after the 4-0 defeat at Old Trafford, his presser afterwards was disgraceful - 7th in his opinion was the maximum that could be expected in the immediate aftermath of a big transfer spend that got everyone excited.

In my book he goes down as one of the worst managers in our history. I would have Sam Allardyce any day over him.

He was here for the $$$ only.

Heard on the radio pep had agreed to be man city manager , he text sterling when he was struggling, he said I got your back , when i get there me and you are going to do wonderful things together .
Koeman books a holiday and publicly tells everyone Barkley and delofeu have to apply themselves better then goes for a round of golf, if he's Barca bound I will eat my arse.
Great man management that.

People will say Pep has had it easy but he get a players to perform at a level higher than they could under other elite managers, in my opinion.

Nope, he sure hadn’t.

Even from day one....when he wouldn’t interrupt his holiday to fly back and sign in a fanfare of trumpets.

It started off on a bad footing and went downhill from there.

Remember the first, might have been the second, international break that season when he said Lukaku should move on if he wanted to better himself?

Koeman might not, marginally, be the worst manager we ever had.....but by ‘eck he is far an away the most hateful.

Even more so than Sam.

Given the platform he had to work from, he is easily the worst. His complete disregard for the club lead to us appointing Fireman Sam. That whole episode was absolutely sickening.

Mike Walker was bad, but he tried, he just wasn't good enough.

This rosy faced knacker was more interested in telling our players to leave and improving his golfing ability.

He showed 0 heart for our great club and that makes him a stain on our history. He had that freak 4-0 win v City and that was it.

He is in a final in an international competition with Holland. Already done what Martinez can’t do.

I don't think so. He just wasn't competent at buying quality players. With the dutch national team he doesn't have to buy, he just has to choose the best, and he is fortunate to have a good crop coming through.

Indeed big difference in club and national management is time together, the longest you get with players at international is several weeks every two years, sometimes not even that! I can tolerate most be people in small doses, however, I would struggle over days...

I don't know how good a coach Koeman might be but there's no question this is a special generation of Dutch players atm

According to the Beeb, Koeman "said nothing" to de Ligt at halftime after he had given away a first half penalty v England.

I'd believe that. Utter no-mark of a manager who seemingly couldn't care less, currently luckily riding high on the back of the best crop of young Dutch footballers that there has been for a generation.

Why would he?
De light made a mistake now move on, which he did in the second half.
His not a baby
