We won't act until the seasons done basically, wait till January, we'd already be out of EL and the league cup and be well adrift of doing anything in the league, MUCH less attractive proposition to bring in a manager in a season which is already dead, lose against Burnley I'd get shut - new manager has the international break to work with some and then build from there
I'd get rid of him now personally. We are heading out of the Europa if he stays and he's already told us himself that we are doing nothing in the league!

Yeah, that was really bad form. Koeman's basically telling us we shouldn't expect top 4, even after spending 150m on new players and knowing top 4 has been our stated aim even since the Moyes-era. Martinez might've been too far the other way but at least we had that one rousing season, where it felt anything was possible.

That's all we fans want, really...a bit of romance and magic, stuff what memories are made of. Koeman's first 15 months have provided little of any of that.

Comes down to the next 3 games for me. Burnley, Brighton and Lyon. Nothing short of a dramatic turnaround in the performances and positive results will do.

I sympathize with him not getting the striker or defender he wanted, but he should be able to muster better team displays than we've seen. Barely any visible improvement since the first game in July. Conceding a disgusting amount of goals and nearly always conceding first. Not good enough if we want to finish 7th, nevermind break into the top 6.

I have voted no, however my patience is definitely growing very thin with him now. He is not learning from his mistakes and it appears to be mainly down to stubbornness and lack of responsibility. We are just going round in circles with no plan and no light at the end of tunnel in sight. Losing to that team at home tonight is inexcusable imo. It wasn't just a must win but it was a should comfortably win. We struggle to even pass the ball to an Everton player, never mind a forward and creative pass which would be nice instead of all that side ways and backwards and then give it away nonsense. Its not just a lack of confidence as RK said in his post match. It is also some mind boggling management from himself and even though there is indeed clearly a confidence issue, it is his job to manage and sort that out and it should have been sorted 7 matches ago.

Never thought that i would be this frustrated after the excitement of June and July prior to the season starting. Serious questions need to be asked and resolved with a matter of urgency.

I meant to say drawing, not losing apologies. Although to be fair it felt like a loss.

Also wanted to mention that prior to last nights match, Apollon Limassol had lost 19 out of 22 European away games and conceded 78 goals in that time. It really puts it into perspective about just how poor and inexcusable last night was. I am still seething tbh.

It's tough because plenty of fans say that, but really it only matters if you win a competition, getting to the semi's or even the final of a cup probably wouldn't be enough for a manger to keep their job, if they are flirting with relegation in the league. Martinez got us to 2 semi finals and he got sacked. I'm not saying that was wrong

It isn't often I call the club out but.. Board pishing about over Giroud.. (and still going back for more in January, are we fecking mad?) - stop sitting on your ass and do something fhs.

And as for Koeman, well, I'm sorry if I am wrong but how can he continue to divide the players between his boys and the rest - Barkley, Mirallas, Niasse and, before them Geri for example. Last season we were doing well with a decent squad. Now we've improved it and.. bingo, something's wrong.. Maybe it's Rooney, maybe it's Gylffi, who knows. And don't start me on injuries.

Aye, Martinez got us to two semis but bar some great football in late-autumn he had his team playing godsawful football in the league. And we won't remember those semis with any great fondness. With Martinez it's just his first season that provided the magic.

Koeman has that 4-0 vs City under his belt, so maybe there's still hope he's got it in his locker...

Ever since Koeman joined I can't get excited watching us. I need the football equivalent of viagra right now. It just feels wrong. Like anti-football. Football should be about class and being a better team and skill. Not negativity and cancelling opposition out. Liverpool play narrow but with skillful players. We seem to be adopting the same tactic without the skillful players - or at least the platform for players to show their skill. Even seem to be replicating them with our defense. But seriously - a manager spends 150m, has no cover for strikers or defenders and we seem to have no midfield bite? That cannot be right. The Niasse situation, Barkley, Kev, letting Gerry go, no replacement striker (we needed plus one and ended with minus one), and the negative containment tactics against the big sides which fails every time. For me, it's a yes - and quickly so we can rebuild and have a shot at picking up what we need in the Jan transfer window and salvaging something in Europe. And yes, give it to Unsey - let's be honest, it's more or less his side that has been getting us out of the nonsense Koeman gets us into.
