That is football... managers get sacked when they don't perform... I would give him more time but you can't keep a manager who is consistently getting rubbish results just because he has been backed financially and the thoughts that a new manager might not fancy a couple of the young playersKoeman out would mean this season is wasted and all the money is wasted - the new manager would not use the same players , would likely not ‘fancy’ some of the younger ones for no particular reason and we risk careers of people like Davies and DCL and Kenny - be very careful what you wish for - it’s easier for the management to push Koeman towards a certain approach rather than sacking him
Wow, talk about Hobson's choice! They only way I'd be happy for Koeman to stay right now is if the only alternative was that dunderhead Martinez. Luckily for us there a whole world of managers to chose from who are miles better then these two chuckleheads.Honestly mate would you take Martinez back given the chance?

OkWest Ham (a) 0-0 draw
Everton (h) 3-0 loss
Swansea (a) 1-0 loss
Everton (h) 1-0 win
Arsenal (a) 3-1 loss
Stoke (h) 1-0 win
City (a) 1-1 draw
Chelsea (a) 2-0 loss
Spurs (h) 3-0 loss
United (a) 4-0 loss
Bournemouth (h) 2-1 win
Thats our last 11 league games dating back till mid April last season
In those 11 games I remember 2 decent halves of football - first half until the sending off against City, and second half last 30 minutes against Bournemouth after Niasse and Davies came on
we scored in only 4 of the 11 games - a total of 5 goals over the 11 games, we conceded in 8 of the 11 games and a total of 18 goals
Played 11 won 3 drew 2 lost 6, (11 points) scored 4 conceded 18
Stretched over the end of last and start of this it is basically close to relegation form, we also have only gotten a result in one game the opponent scored first in - last time out at Bournemouth
I agree mate.... I thought I was making the same point.... that we shouldn't be afraid to sack him if his poor form continues, just that I would give him a bit more time, although I don't think he will turn it aroundWest Ham (a) 0-0 draw

It was pretty small time getting Koeman but to be honest I'm more interested in getting someone in who knows what they are doing! Unsworth in till end of season then evaluate.Who could replace him though? Would be so small time if we got rid of him and we get Unsworth, that is my fear.
Take Martinez back where?
Ok
