Anyway back to sensible discussion in regards to kit manufacturers.

Think we will extend with Umbro, would like to see someone else take a crack at it though. Adidas would be good, even if we would just have the exact same kit as everyone else made by Adidas.

Can't understand anyone saying that the Umbro kits have all been good. Did you see last season's home kit? One of our worst ever.

Most of our Umbro home kits have been. Yeah, last season’s was rubbish and I didn’t like 1997-99, but the rest have been sound.

I wonder if the new fanatics deal might have some play here. Seems like Fanatics won't have anything to do with the manufacture of our kits, just the other stuff, but they've also done deals with Nike, UA, and others, but not sure how much business they've done with Umbro.

I think the pink kits sell well, particularly with female fans, so I think we will probably have a pink away or third kit every other season. I think some of the pink ones have been ok

Oh in terms of kit Umbro have just given us generic template designs let’s just jib it yeah?

Umbro offered us the most money.

But how do the kit maker/sponsors offers rate alongside public sales of the kit? As someone said earlier, are kids really into Umbro gear compared to say, Adidas? Probably not. Does the club consider the potential future sales or just take the most money offered?
