We’ve had Umbro, Nike, Puma and le Coq back in the day. I’d quite like to see us get Adidas as we haven’t had that manufacturer before, to see what they can offer as an alternative.

Why is it that the majority of French team kits always look boss, same with the Italians as well.

I think the Germans look the best personally but you can always rely on certain teams to have spot on kits, mainly those that have been with their suppliers for many years. Was very surprised to see Marseille switch to Puma and Anderlecht go to Joma of all companies. Another two clubs who always have nice kits.

The British are always crap at making things look classy. I am a proper kit nerd though, mainly because I love design and logos etc.

My lad growing up was into footy kits as well,wherever we went on holiday we always had to visit a stadium there, and we would buy him that clubs kit, we went all over France on holiday so he has a lot of French club kits. Funnily enough one of his favourites we got him was a St Ettienne kit, that was from about 6 years ago though.

Our sponsors/manufacturers, with the rare exception of Nike, are always so small time.

They're the ones offering to pay the most mate - club can't demand Adidas pay more than Umbro.

What he means is he doesnt care who we get sponsored by, whoever it is will have offered us the most money, so all the people saying the club is small time for being with Umbro are missing out the most important aspects, Umbro offered us the most money.
