Think some of the brilliant saves he made yesterday have been lost in all this injury fallout (the offside aside).

Feel a bit sorry that he’s been getting pelters for best part of 2 years, and game he produces saves that arguably earned us a point, it’s been overshadowed by VVD’s injury.
He got away with two absolutely ridiculous mistakes by 4 CMs combined. He's not good enough, he was poor again and the desire to just destroy our hopes in games that he is displaying now means it is time to play someone else. Making 1 good save doesn't change that just like the ones against Spurs didn't.

If that Henderson goal stood never mind a Liverpool fan chasing him, Every Everton fan would be hunting him themselves, It's alright making worldies here and there but when you're letting soft shots like them in it isn't good enough.

he made three excellent saves

but yes, made two howlers that should have - but ultimately didn’t - cost us

it was a performance which pretty much sums him up.

from that save from TAA to the shot from Henderson, he was great. Those moments at the start and the end, which didn’t ultimately cost is even though they should have, were horrific

If he hadn’t made those worldies then that Henderson shot wouldn’t have mattered a jot anyway though, that’s the thing

he put in a genuinely fantastic display with two impossibly bad moments that somehow we got away with

a ban would probably be best for him and the team atm. It gets him out of the limelight. Issue is it also just panders to the RS and Their cries of injustice

Hes erratic, a boom and bust goalkeeper. It just doesn't work in goal. You need calm and steady rather than the sublime and the ridiculous

You can only construe it as a good game if you ignore the moments that didn't ultimately count. But we all saw them and they were horrific, so it was a poor showing again.

It can only be a matter of time before the manager loses patience with the roller-coaster that Pickford offers on a game by game basis.

Does anyone think this whole thing could be the catalyst for him regaining his form? The media and the RS cultist are calling for him to be arrested, it's not just our fans going mad over dodgy performances. He's a prideful guy and clearly quite arrogant, he must be extremely angry to be getting hammered like this and being the centre of the country's main sports story. Egomaniacs often respond when people go for them like this.

Fingers crossed.

I agree, I’m just not into saying that he didn’t make good saves yesterday. He saved six of eight shots faced, and three of them were brilliant stops

Those two moments were horrid and he needs taking out of the team. But, they counted for nothing in the game, ultimately

I didn’t say he had a good game including those howlers. But because of the refs, we have to take those moments in isolation

but those moments didn’t cost us yet the saves he made did get us the point

all of the above is true. You tried to say he made one good save which isn’t true. He made three excellent stops all denying what looked certain goals.

and I think he should be dropped, btw.

You're right it wouldn't have mattered but it's still a matter that needs discussing because if that goal had stood it would have been up there as one of his worst, It's a classic Pickford game, He does worldies and then lets in a shot with the same strength of a toddler. He needs replacing in the summer there is no if's and buts sadly we have to ride with him this season or give Olsen a chance because he's a ticking time bomb.

I don’t think there’s any debating that he needs dropping out. A ban would probably be good for him. He needs time away from the limelight.

but conversely he got us that point. That’s just factual. We’ve conceded five if not for him, even though he shouldn’t have been on pitch and he made that mistake at the end.
