he’s gone to catch it, you can actually see him then hesitate. He decides to try and make himself big but because he’s flying out he’s completely off balance and just flies in.

VVD actually fluffs it so job done. Issue is just how he flies off and the momentum he’s going at

I could see him not playing vs. Southampton TBH ....don't think his "tackle" was intended to injure but this incident is just another distraction for a keeper with fragile confidence. Could see Carlo removing him from the limelight for this week....back the match after that.

He may be beyond help. Probably is. As much as it has to be down to him I also question the coaching. It clearly hasn’t been up to scratch.

It happens because he's indecisive and generally useless at the moment. It's an accident.

If he had done him on purpose, I'd like Pickford more for it, and there's a part of me that wants to egg the RS tears over it on by pretending he did do him.

Does anyone think this whole thing could be the catalyst for him regaining his form? The media and the RS cultist are calling for him to be arrested, it's not just our fans going mad over dodgy performances. Nobody really knows if he's arrogant. His on pitch antics are so erratic you could class it has half a dozen things. Twitchy cocky nerves confidence non confidence. List goes on.
Anyways. Im defending him to the hilt in this against the redsh1te. Purely because of their hypocrisy. Already had a few words with some today. Absolutely fking adore they dont like being challenged and im in my element taking them on.

The challenge was a shocker and he deserved a red but these takes and media plus ex pros accusing him of assault and intent are absolutely disgusting. He does rash things, which is why we have been calling for him to be dropped and this is just one of them.

Dunk threw in an absolutely shocking 2 footed tackle today but nobody is bothered as it was only a Palace player
