I'm kind of in the same boat - from a personal humanized standpoint, sucks to be injured like that. That being said, glad it happened to the reds, and if they're as deep and as much of a world class team as their fans say they are, then losing 1 player shouldn't hurt them for the year. it's only a few months to the winter transfer window after all

What do you mean by your lot? I've been an Evertonian since 1972 and shouting abuse at players isn't my style. My view on the situation is shared by the whole footballing world, incl Man Utd supporters. I've no problem with people here dissagreing with me, but it doesn't make me less of a supporter.

I am never happy when a player gets Injured. Pain and surgery sucks.

But I don't feel bad just based on how he came out. The first foul on James was not the usual welcome to the PL foul. He legit went in to hurt him elbow up. Then again to DCL.

He wanted to be a goon and got gooned. Sucks for him but he is no victim of anything.

Pickford's natural movement from this brings him towards the camera, Big Virg is headed straight into Pickford with studs raised. Obviously virg clatters Pickford and gets himself injured.

I think it might have some serious consequences. Over the next few weeks I wouldn't be surprised if he is a bit shaky on crosses, maybe drop the ball to an opposing player, miss hit clearances, flapping at stuff he should really catch, mistimed challenges and the odd howler going in.
