just heard from a few city fans of mine lescott passed medical last night not sure if they pulling my leg.also just read on other forum some guy saying lescott has gone and will be announced shortly

hahahah That's the 3rd time he's had a medical at Citeh in 2 months.

Its a story pasted together from him being dropped and slapped a quote from Whealen from last week. Both clubs have said no one's talked to each other because they're both busy.

The story got pulled last night then reappeared, and its still a rumour.

Not saying he could go, but nothing's been done. Probably wont till next week.

Last year, Joleon got off to a very bad start.
If he goes to City, and the same happens, it will be interesting to see how patient and forgiving they are, or will they sit there before him like Roman emporers with their thumbs pointing downwards.

I was saying why not sell Lescott and buy Bramble for like 10-12M and have money to spare. Now I'm thinking its a steal if we do a straight up trade for him. He's extremely talented, how NUFC managed to screw him up so much is beyond me.

At the end of the 2003–04 season, readers of the football e-mail newsletter The Fiver voted Bramble as the worst player of the year in the English Premiership. One reader wrote: "Titus's occasional flash of brilliance is heavily outweighed by the total inability to think before attempting what inevitably turns into a hashed clearance, a mistimed tackle, an own goal or a penalty for the opposition."

That was pretty accurate statement, this is a more accurate statement (its pretty much the club's motto)

NEWCASTLE'S occasional flash of brilliance is heavily outweighed by the total inability to think before attempting what inevitably turns into a hashed clearance, a mistimed tackle, an own goal or a penalty for the opposition

one swan does not make a summer.

i'm glad the lad is putting the past behind him and finally putting his foot through the ball, but i would weep if he came to everton.

rook, not a dig, but just opposite views on a player.
