At the end of the 2003–04 season, readers of the football e-mail newsletter The Fiver voted Bramble as the worst player of the year in the English Premiership. One reader wrote: "Titus's occasional flash of brilliance is heavily outweighed by the total inability to think before attempting what inevitably turns into a hashed clearance, a mistimed tackle, an own goal or a penalty for the opposition."

That hasn't been true since he moved to Wigan.

He's been great week in and week out for them.

If you're looking for a defender who never ever gets beaten to a ball, you'll be looking for a long time.

I can name individual mistakes by Lescott as well, you know.

I can only judge him on what ive seen. Missed the first half. So far the second half hes been out jumped by Rooney for 1 goal and then hes charged out of defense and left a huge hole in which Berbatov has scored from.

Hardly a great showing for me.

Rooney did outjump him, but (I'd hate to admit it) a-hole made a nice play too. Valencia's cross was a bit behind him and he adjusted well to it.

The 2nd goal was just sweet passing by United. Any club would have been unlocked in that situtation.
