Anybody see that sly dig in the Daily Mirrior about us being increasingly bitter at Manchester City over Moyes reluctance to loose Lescott ? Bitter at City ? They have won what again ? Lazy sloppy scribes

I cannot wait for saturday now I really cannot . I couldnt careless if Lescott plays or not as I KNOW the other players who are in the home dressing room will want to show us the supporters that some of them still love playing for Everton .

Saturday will tell a lot IMO.

If he makes a wrong move he will be lambasted, if he doesnt he may be lambasted anyway.

It all depends on how Moyes processes it and the effect it has on the team/squad when we are down to buisness.

He's obviously in a win win situation....nailed on!!(y)

I still think we should hold on until the end of this season as the world cup is at the end so he will have to play his best if he wants to get into the england squad, plus his price will of gone up by the end of the season too so i think that is what moyes is gonna do

I do as well and stick with Moyes on this. Have seen that Hughes interview and that just shows the crap that he has been dishing out and still doing so. made clear yonks ago no one is leaving , he should have respected and buggared off. Even their website is saying that.

So why has he got the pants for Lescott?? on might ask. He previously talked of other targets, oh yes who then. That seems to have died a death. Fact is he is desperate to get Lescott, no question of that which is why he has ignored Everton's no. But Hughes for some reason will not go the extra pounds, okay again buggar off then.

I am also with Ghost and what he has said. This is now getting very deep and arguably could result in Moyes resigning.

Which will be very bad for us.

he wont be playing for everton again.....its a done deal £25m and he will be having a medical tomorrow.....for those who want to batter him he is booked in for a medical at BUPA in whalley range tomorrow lunchtime.

at least this is an end to this sorry episode.

Joleon Lescott is set to go on strike if he does not get his transfer request accepted.

Word reaching us at SkyBlueNews is that Lescott has fallen out with Everton boss, David Moyes and will refuse to play until he is allowed to transfer to Manchester City. One of our well respected "ITK" told us this,

"Well everyone knows about him asking for a transfer request but he has fell out big time with Moyes and rumours are that he is going on strike until they let him leave. The board is putting alot of pressure on Moyes to sell now to us before its too late and they are left with an unhappy player who doesnt want to play for the club or manager" - Djelanomcfc

Lescott is yet to make a statement about his future or his intentions of joining Manchester City but it is a fact that Mark Hughes is ready to make another offer and will do anything to get Lescott in the City side. Manchester City have had two previous bids rejected bids rejected by Everton, ranging from 15 - 18 million pounds. Moyes is very reluctant to sell the centre back and has said many times he is going no where.

We will bring you more news regarding Lescott when it reaches us.

Your comical you are lad. I hope your right as for 25 million id be made up . Mark Hughes is making a great job of spunking obscene amounts of money on frankly average players . Goodluck winning the league with " worldclass " defenders like Lescott .
