Still sticking to me guns - they wont spend £25mill on him....

But if they do -- wouldnt that make Lescott the second most expensive defender in the world?

Jesus wept....

he wont be playing for everton again.....its a done deal £25m and he will be having a medical tomorrow.....for those who want to batter him he is booked in for a medical at BUPA in whalley range tomorrow lunchtime.

i agree he aint worth anything like that sort of money and i cant believe hughes is so stupid to pay it,i got a feeling he is only going full setam ahead with this not to get another knock back and make us look even stupider than we have since the arabs came in TBH.

But its all lies mate.

I'd have to agree unless there's some breaking news kicking in the couple of hours.

Joleon Lescott is set to go on strike if he does not get his transfer request accepted.

Word reaching us at SkyBlueNews is that Lescott has fallen out with Everton boss, David Moyes and will refuse to play until he is allowed to transfer to Manchester City. One of our well respected "ITK" told us this,

"Well everyone knows about him asking for a transfer request but he has fell out big time with Moyes and rumours are that he is going on strike until they let him leave. The board is putting alot of pressure on Moyes to sell now to us before its too late and they are left with an unhappy player who doesnt want to play for the club or manager" - Djelanomcfc

Lescott is yet to make a statement about his future or his intentions of joining Manchester City but it is a fact that Mark Hughes is ready to make another offer and will do anything to get Lescott in the City side. Manchester City have had two previous bids rejected bids rejected by Everton, ranging from 15 - 18 million pounds. Moyes is very reluctant to sell the centre back and has said many times he is going no where.

We will bring you more news regarding Lescott when it reaches us.

Not very professional that though. He actually might feel at home with ****s like Robinho and Bellamy.

Ok, so sauce?

you mean source? ;0)

well my mates bird works at the BUPA in whalley range and she text him before to say a medical is booked in for tomorrow lunchtime.

i dont expect anyone to believe me but i just thought id share it and when it happens tomorrow you will see i dont make a statement like that unless im sure.

the £25m ? its not mate seriously its a done deal and joking aside it turns my stomache that these figures are being quoted it really does.

Again, untill BBC or somewhere pull out the news story, there's no real facts.

Its a bit like the old "Jo's part of the deal, they're just waiting for a replacement before annoucing" - remember that whopper?

Hes basing it on the fact he claims to have a source at this BUPA thingy, but clubs make appointments all the time, just in case. So even if this side was true, how on earth would this same contact have the details of the fee involved, surely the only people that know this would be Moyes, Hughes, Lescott, Lescotts slimy agent and board memebers from both clubs, hence the high bullshit factor.
