Sorry if I offended anyone by passing on what I found on twitter. Just think it looks real to me. It might not be. But so many famous people use twitter so its not impossible.

Wasn't it Twitter that Bent was on ****ging off Tottenham before his move to Sunderland? I think it was.

No offence taken, mate. It's a good link actually. (y)

Sure, no problem. Didn't sound like him to me, though.

Anyway, back to Hughes. Here's one paper that had a direct quote:
We are still trying to speak to the people who will ultimately make the decision over whether or not the deal continues. Those conversations are still to take place but how long they will still be active is open to debate.

Which appears to me as if someone at City is trying to get in touch with Kenwright or Elstone again to make a new bid, and not indicating a conspiracy theory that anyone at EFC is still trying to hang onto a deal.

(Incidentally, Nick, Danny and anyone else in web things, try copying and pasting text from the Mail these days - they have an interesting little js(?) automatically adding a link to the bottom of it.)

its interesting the way twitter developed, i think the effective publicists out there realized its potential and made accounts for their clients, those that were late in the game are SOL.

whoever made it did it pretty convincingly, even if its not him it could be a friend on his behalf. the last post is very interesting though?

I will tell you one thing though...we will see who has the last laugh come the weekend.

last laugh when he scores a hattrick against arsenal, or when he sits out the game and is later in the day revealed in a city shirt?

also it should be noted that he talks about city on twitter before the official transfer request was submitted, can someone check if the twitter post about the transfer request was made before the press got word of it?

Maybe he's buying the club? :dodgy:

Well these are the likely outcomes.

1. Lescott will be sold from Moyes and Moyes walks
2. Lescott will not be sold, he will kick on for the World Cup and then go for money or realise the City thing is flawed.
3. Lescott will see his arse and go on strike

Or Lescott could do a Gerrard and realise which side his breads buttered and become a legend.

I honestly believe it's going to be No.1. There is no way Moyes will sell Lescott, so he will walk, and that will be sad.

well thats fine mate and you wouldnt be banned on BM forums but maybe get abuse but thats a vile forum anyway and ive lost count how many times ive said that.

and i also believe as FACT that city have 100% got the medical records of lescott so things are moving on,i know it was quoted earlier on on here but got laughed at but its true so it looks like things will be moving quickly now...oh and thats not from BM forums either incase you didnt see that i dont post on there anymore.

cant believe all this hostility because i support a different team and ive not given anyone any abuse on here.

I'm sure we cant refuse copies of his medical reports. Means nothing. I read fro your lot that its to "evaluate" him. How come it wasnt done ages ago? And what evaluation would they put on him because he's not worth £20million....but we're gonna want that and more.

Just been on Lescott's twitter page. I assume its him, as he's leaving twits about making a hard decision and knowing he's gonna recieve a backlash etc without being critical with any names so it doesn't look fake.

One of his posts says 'Things arent what they seem behind closed doors. I'll say no more'.

Pretty worrying tbh :(

Those twitter things arent legit IMO. The Bent thing was in the news and people are just doing it for a laugh. You read Arteta's one? Apparantly his kid is called "Mikel Jnr".....when really his names Gabriel...ie bullshit.

But to be fair...we all know the stories about Moyes being a blert when he wants to be.

This Twitter thing: it's clearly blag.
Lets not all do the hysterical thing again.
THE SKIES FALLING DOWN.
If he goes, he goes. Like I said, he's neither the best centre half or left back at the club so he's replacable in the long term.
The daft blert just let us in the lurch a bit by submitting his transfer right before the season starts, which makes me less arsed if he goes.

It's the fallout that I am more concerned with. If rumours are to be believed, Man City are not dealing with Moyes, so if they strike a deal, will Moyes walk. I reckon he would.

Cant see it myself. Kenwright and Moyes are bezzies. The minute Kenwright goes behind his back, he might as well stick a bomb under Goodison on Saturday and blow it up because the club would crumble if Moyes left...

And that's not going OTT. I cant see anyone making that team work like he does. I cant see another manager coming in and hacking the financial strain and getting the team to perform like Moyes does. And I certainly know that the board wouldnt know where to go from Moyes leaving.

I think it's all going on above Moyes head. The player and the board and their board all know the score and are playing this pantomime out to the bitter end. It'll be done and dusted with a few days left for Moyes to get bodies in and he wont have a chance to use all the cash, which will be handy as there's a stadium to pay for.

As a rider to that, I have to declare I have been known to subscribe to conspiracy theories in the past.

How do you know that Hughes aint just chatting [Poor language removed] though?

It was only a few days ago that Kenwright apparantly said he would sell Lescott to a rival club...

Well if Kenwright values the fee for Lescott higher than David Moyes remaining Everton manager, then Lescott will be sold over Moyes' head. Can't see it myself though.
