The kids won't come through.

They'll end up at Watford and Burnley.

They won't get the chance to play enough to progress.

The funniest comment I heard during all this was that Lescott would have wanted to come to City anyway, it's nothing to do with all the money being thrown around.

If some City fans really believe that he would have gone to City a year or two ago, they are an even bigger laughing stock than I thought.

yes mate to setup one of the new academies there and then he has plans to do more.

he is still based in manchester though and will continue to be a success like he has been for years.

Like I said on the last page, it's far too easy for you to just raid your rivals. You may as well get rid of your youth team and scouts. Instant success at any cost right?

In all seriousness, whats happened to Michael Johnson? Is he a crock?

I fancied him at Everton. Can we have him if his legs still work properly?

johnno has gone through not only injuries but im lead to believe personal problems aswell mate.

he made a comeback in SA in pre season but has takena step back with injury but nothing too serious at the moment.

he will be back soon and fighting for his place and once he gets back in the team then he wont be budged out even with ireland and barry in there because de jong will be the one to step down.

and for those doubting us having kids in our team well lets go through who we have in now.

ned,richards,ireland,swp,mcgivern,weiss...not bad for a team thats buying everyone in sight is it ?

To be fair you've only just started buying everyone in sight. Give it time.

But how many of those will be first team regulars?

Without the money they would be guaranteed, thats the point.

Good to hear about Johnson though, hope he gets back to his best and all that.
