Well I must say i'm not suprised, or angry at Joleon, but certainly dissapointed. Obviously the timing is pretty lousy, but if he wants to go and thinks this is the only way then thats his perogative. Hopefully if Moyes stands firm, and I believe he should then Lescott will be professional enough to give 100% each game.
TBH i'm more angry and disgusted at some of the people on here. Some of the posts on here, saying they want to kill him, break his spirit etc is utterly distasteful, imature and... words fail me infact.
Personally I will still support him while he plays for our club, hope that he is in the starting 11 saturday, and that he doesn't get the booing it seems he will from posts on here.
The rest of you grow up, and start behaving more respectively. Lescott is just a human and if I was a
non-evertonian playing for this club I would probably want to move the way the board is running the club atm...
ive said exactly the same thing mate and everton seem to forget that when they was asked last season if they wanted to buy jo they said they couldnt afford him.
therefor meaning they was thinking about it and speaking about it in public when he was not only a manchester city player but hughes said he was still in his plans and everton didnt have the option of buying jo last season.
double standards from moyes.
Ok, thats from the other forum, but anyways. The point I wanted to make is that as stated in your own post Moyes was asked and replied that he couldnt afford him? How is that tapping up, especially when the player was already at the club and we were looking to not buy him at the seasons end when we had the option to? I've never heard of anyone tapping up a player they weren't gonna buy!! Tbf tho I think you've got a pretty harsh side of the stick, I have nothing against you, just not happy with your club. Nor our own board i might add.
