Bluemooner ?

Despite your money , you don't seem to be able to attract true world class players , possibly with the exception of Robinho , and seem to have settled for trying to get decent Premiership players in instead .
Why do you think that is m8 ?

If you look at the top 4 , they all have genuine world class players in their sides .
How do you expect to overcome this ?

I think we have ranted and fumed for quite some time now and notwithstanding that City fan who cannot take a hint, the finger clearly points at Hughes. he has made no secret of his desire to have Lescott, may not have said it outright but has certainly used the backdoor media circus to get the point across.

Thinking of Lescott, he had to be aware of City's interest from a long time ago. I reckon he was biding his time thinking that it was just a case of City making a big enough bid and we would accept. But it went wrong, we made it clear no one is leaving and then the media report and essentailly this had to be from Hughes that he was looking at alternatives. I believe Lescott was talked to at the England camp (remember Barmby) and sent in a transfer request from there after some prompting from a third party. I think he was fearful he would lose out on big wages and a big signing on fee. But to send in a request from miles away what does that say for his character??

I do not want a player here who does not want to give 100% but I fully stand by Moyes and the stand he has taken.

i cant disagree with anything you say mate and at no point since i joined have i come on here saying we are going to do this and going to do that.

the only way to overcome this is by getting into the top 4 which is going to be very very hard and if we do get there then it will still be hard because the sky 4 are known about the world as the sky 4 so they will always get the better players IMO.

but money does talk and if we do get top 4 then we might get the odd star at city but will there motives be football or money ? well even i know it will be the money.

Arrrrrrrrgh, stop going off topic. Go to World Football if you want a discussion about Man Citeh FFS. I'm fed up of hearing about your shower to be honest.

Lescott hasnt shown himself in the best light sending a transfer request whilst in the Netherlands and not face to face . That will just wind Moyes up even more .

dont people have phones these days mate ? nice thought by you but im sure if he was tapped up then it would have been a long time ago but i agree with what you say about him hoping everton would accept a big bid for him to make him look all sweetness and light.

I can assure you it's on topic .

My point to the City lad is that they can't get any true world class players to join them .

Lescott is no different .

City's signings have in the main been problem players in their other clubs .
Tevez was homeless , Adda was disliked , Barry was wanting away , Robinho was problematic , Bellamy has his own history etc etc .

All these players came to City as an escape route and with a promise of huge earnings .

Lescott hasn't been problematic at Everton . He is simply going for the big wedge . If he wasn't , then it's easy to see that the top 4 would be a bigger attraction , as they are there already , have better players than City , and rule the roost for the time being .

Not one player has joined City because he particularly wanted to play for them , and them only .

So what's all this crap you're posting on another forum about this forum? How the hell is the situation with Jo and Everton the same as the situation with City and Lescott? Why are we applying double standards? And why are we the "so-called" people's club? And which of us are the "hotheads'?

You're a bit of a two-faced type aren't you, what with all your "I'm so nice, please love me" talk.
