Joey Yobo on his way?

Even after watching him this season play every match except when he's not fit??:confused2:

I'm gonna question man utd's interest in him then if that's the case.
Of course he isn't ready YET. If he would be ready, we wouldn't cry every week watching our midfield not being able to control the game, we wouldn't wair and hope for Arteta coming back, etc...

You don't have to question Man Utd interest in him though, it's clear that Rodwell is very talented and has all the tools to be a quality player... he just isn't at the moment, and MU isn't interested in him to be a solution to their midfield worries right now, they consider him as a long term solution. And they're right.

To me, apart from Pienaar, Rodwell is the only player that i can say is " most composed" when on the ball this season. I think he's ready just like Anderson was for man ure around 18 years old. He's a two footed player, passes elegantly, tackles well..never panicks and can shoot it. What does he lacks, experience? He's getting that here faster than he'll do anywhere in the world.

man ure are just pathetic, they are gonna waste him at CB anyways so they can jog on (n)(n)

But still m8, Rodwell is ready I believe so. Gosling,Duffy,Baxter,Lukas aren't

Yes, Rodwell is ready to be a starting midfielder of a low level Premiership team, a position where we are currently and where playing Rodwell as a starting midfield brought us (not the only reason of course, but it's not like he was out best player so far).

However it's not a position where I want us to be, but we can't go higher relying on 19 years old Rodwell starting week after week. So for me, he's not ready, yet.

Fellaini is head and shoulders above both in the 'composure on the ball' stakes.:)

Agreed, his performances have testified to that too. He could turn out to be a fantastic player but needs to be brought on gradually at the moment - you'll notice the difference when the better players are back and he's playing in a settled team.

Would we have needed Heittinga and Bily??????

 Erm... Yes. The squad was desperately short of numbers Rob and as those two have played practically every game this year I would say we did need more than just replacing Lescott with one other player. Our subsequent injury crisis has surely shown Moyes made the right call in adding strength in depth.

I think the story is rubbish, Yobo isnt going anywhere, Moyes made him captain earlier in the season, you dont do that to players you are going to bin off, also Yobo is at ACON, so he wont be going to another club in the window
