I'm not sure mate.
The question to RM was, paraphrasing, "Does Howard need removing from the limelight due to his poor form?" to which Martinez replied, "No, I wouldnt remove him for that reason - he's too experienced for that".

At no point did he say "I won't be dropping him" or "Howard will be straight back in".

I genuinely think that if Jagielka hadnt been injured, Robles would keep his place if he'd performed well tonight.
I think the opportunity is still there for him, but he needs to ensure his performance tonight is composed. If he can give the impression of calmness then Robles will play against Sunderland I reckon.

What other reason would there be for dropping him apart from injury. Looks like reading between the lines TH will be back in perhaps not to night but Sunderland, affirmative. Fat Sam will be grinning from ear to ear.
