Definitely, think that performance got a lot of fans onside and think thats all the lad needed. Getting fan support and being trusted by the fans has definitely helped him i feel. I see no reason why he shouldnt be given the number one spot until the Season finishes, that way we'll know whether we need to go out and buy a top class keeper to be our number one or go out and buy a steady back up for Joel.
A clean sheet should mean a retained place, no?

Robles should have been given his chance a year ago. Whenever Martinez does drop Howard it will ultimately be far too late.
Cannot see how Robles can be dropped for next game. He looked like a first team keeper last night. Come to think of it he looked like a midfielder with some of his passes. Hopefully Howard will now disappear into the background
