This for me is huge,the defence can push forward 5 yards knowing Joel will come out. The team look far more at ease with him in the nets.

You can bet the calamity with that back pass / pen against Swansea wouldn't have happened if the defence were at ease with their keeper

Feel much more comfortable with him in the side. He's louder, braver and more composed than Howard.

Was boss during that jittery spell in the 2nd half where the defenders weren't clearing their lines and he came rushing out to bollock them. Proper commanding his box like a goalkeeper should.
