If he stays at city he's an idiot pure and simple. Guardiola will never play him as it goes against his 'philosophy'.

Either stay at City, pocket his big wages and lose his place in the England team or move on and be first choice. I think he'll stay there but would love him here.
 
Agree with you Harris, what money we have could be spent elsewhere. I was having doubts whether we had any additional funds after Bolasie signed but our new director seems to be "anxious" to still spend. However, if for some unknown reason City would allow us to take him on loan then yes.
 


If we can get him on loan with the option to purchase next summer I think that would be a good way to go.

There are better keepers out there but perhaps we are struggling to attract the names we really want.
