Just thinking... whilst I'm enjoying my cheese on toast... is he better than the 'Stek', and if so, at what cost? ie how many roubles?

(seen what I've done - Robles! lol d'oh)

Every time I have seen Hart play, he has made a ridiculous error when kicking or throwing the ball out.

In a Euro 2016 game, he even managed to kick the ball into the back of a defender.

The best young goal-keeper seemed to be Jack Butland, but his broken ankle is still causing him pain.

Seeing a possible loan move - no harm in that maybe with a option to buy later.
Try before you buy, I rate the fella, everyone makes mistakes he's just gotta better him self and he's got plenty of years in him.

I've already said it once, but I need to get it off my chest. I don't want this starfish clown anywhere near our club. When I see him pre-match inside the tunnel all pumped-up and blowharding, I just want to bite his ankles. If he's not good enough for pep, he's not good enough for us. A half-decent shot-stopper without a brain. He really is.
Same as Romelu wasn't good enough for Jose, or Del for Barca, eh?

@PhilM I think a few posters more well up on world football than me would suggest we could get a better keeper than Hart, for less money. Although definitely some opinions are tainted by his arrogant image.
I wouldn't be surprised if that's true and there's been a few names, such as Bernd Leno, that have been bounded around on a regular basis.

And what I've personally seen from watching the Bundesliga I'd even probably agree he's a better option, yet I have no idea if he's available etc.

My point is that if the options were simply to retain the status quo (Stekelenburg and Robles) or sign Hart, then I'd certainly take the latter.

Yet lots of people on here seem to simply reject the idea of signing Hart because of reasons of his image and status rather this his actual ability.
