I am still sitting on the fence with Jo. I just want to see more from him. He does'nt deliver for me and you would expect more from a Brazilian forward. Wagner Love would have made more impact than Jo but he still has something about him, at home at least.

daz mate its not his fault when we have an average of 20 to 30 long ball launching from the back in each half alone. Player like yobo who can chalk up 15 hoofball in a single match shoule be shot instead.
And yes i've counted all of them! Away game is worse and its no surprise he didnt score an away goal.

His ball control is lamentable at times, the kid next door could knock him off the ball..................he has very few redeeming features mate. What I can't understand is how he scored so much in the cold wastes of Russia when he played there, some big burly Slav or Russki should scare the crap out of him. I argued that he should be given time last season...................it seems he'll need a careers worth

I see your point about yobo mate but he is to laid back for me and not the right striker for the way we play.

The Russian league is poor, ive watched a few games and the standard of football over there is very poor, its not as rough and ready as you would imagine either. There are some stand out players, but I think with the rise in stock of Russian and Eastern European players in general that most of the really good players are playing abroad.

I dunno, its all about application for me, hes got the talent, we have all seen flashes of that, on his day, when hes in the mood, hes got the tools, but he lacks confidence, thats why Ronaldo is the best player in the world, because he thinks he is. I mean clearly he has massive talent, but a lot of football is played in the head.

I accept all of that, could have written it myself last year but we can't wait for him to come good one out of five games, Ossie is the same, both are not up to it as far as I'm concerned.............smaller squads need fewer shirkers, they stand out like sore arses
