January Transfer Window 2026

Actually insane seeing the live implosion of Palace, a bit sad to see to be honest. The ‘good vibes’ team of last season and cup winners has all but been ripped apart within a week (manager, captain, top scorer)
The Textor factor was the catalyst for the rise and fall of Palace.

A wheeler dealer with his finger in too many pies gambling on completing a house of cards structure.

That said he knows a good player to invest in.

This is why stability is about investing wisely and timely.

On a transfer market point of view the fire sale of some good talent on Palace's books will be well worth a look as they restructure due to boardroom upheaval.

This process that started last summer
will be reaching it's peak this year.

The UEFA ruling in favour of Forest crippled their vision in the summer
and they lacked the heavy weight clout to fight it.

Everton must now enter the market to get a replacement for Grealish.
For me the priority should still be full backs. Indeed maybe even more important we get at least one.

We have players who can play on the wing and no matter who it is it would greatly help them to be supported by better full backs.

Or if you panic sign another winger at the expense of full backs they will still be let down by the lack of support.

Obviously on an ideal world do both but feels unlikely.

….no, the major factor is he’s underperformed ;)
And how do you get past underperforming, you get your backside out their and take your chance.

Look at Barry's face at the beginning.
Look at McNeil attitude early on.
Both given a proper run and Look at the change..
Tim had some poor displays.
Tarks has had some poor displays
Patterson has now got himself back on the pitch..
