January Transfer Window 2026

Re. Bobb - hamstring injury it says on TM - no idea how serious. Odd that he was being talked up only a few months ago and now being let go.

He can however play both wings.

Can’t loan two players from one club? How about if Jack is out for the season and his is cancelled?

Just a thought. The rumour on Bobb is Dortmund according to TM anyway.

Nusa is the Norwegian winger to go for not Bobb

If Grealish, as we assume, is out for most of the season, surely City would prefer their medical team to take care of him? In which case, sad to say it, but wouldn't it be better if Everton negotiated to end his loan early and get some of the money back we paid them? We could then go in for Bobb on loan with an option to buy him.

What a bolt from the blue that news was yesterday, never rains but it pours at Everton.

He can stay on loan with us and be treated by them.

Just send him back, he is sadly no longer of use to us this season.

UNLESS we use this injury (risky but could be an option) as a way to drive down the price to sign him permanently — take on the risk of him not being affected in the long term and negotiate the deal down to a more realistic price of about £20 million.

Maybe he's not even injured and it's a sneaky ploy by Kinnear to save us some dough.

Even if he’s out for 2-3 months he’ll still play again this season. There’s zero chance he’s sent back to City.

With Grealish’s injury you might get to find out if that Aznou lad is ready to step up. Different ends of the skill spectrum but he’s only gonna have McNeill ahead of him.

….unless Ndiaye reverts back to playing on the left, not forgetting it was his spot before Grealish arrived.

It does broaden the scope for bringing new players in or utilising what we have, acquiring a right sided winger or opens up yet another opportunity for Dibling or using McNeil on the right.

….i really don’t get why it particularly matters, he’s still our loanee for the rest of the season, we’ll still be paying a % his salary. I expect he’ll have an operation then be subject to plenty of rest before rehabilitation truly kicks in.

Popular member of the squad, it’s no issue if all parties agree to him staying at FF. I very much doubt you can simply send a player back who is injured on Everton duty and terminate the loan agreement

City aren’t just going to let us cancel the loan and payments cos he got injured training with us
