In all honesty we shouldn't of hired Ancelotti as he was completely the wrong fit for us. We should of had a long term vision and employed a manager like Arteta who if I'm not mistaken we had talks with before hiring Ancelotti. If arteta would have been remotely successful at everton, he would have done the same as ancelotti the minute arsenal came calling. So he was never a long term option.

I agree. I did felt like we were finally on the road back to where we feel we should be, but he was sold a pup and as soon as someone else more flashy was interested, he’d have gone anyway.
