Would you buy any of those three for an inflated fee?

anyone know anything about this vandersn?
Extremely good all-rounder right back. Close to elite defensively, decently above average in possession. Not quite so good in the air which might put Moyes off but has basically everything else you want. Dream RB link for me that I never thought would be available for us but it looks like Monaco are trying to sell off a bunch of early-peak age players to reinvest right now.

Something something market opportunity, something something only if the right player comes along...

….not sure Moyes has a reputation for aerially dynamic full-backs

Regardless, this sounds like somebody knocking on our door to ask if we’d like to buy rather than us pro-actively identifying a target. I suppose we could get lucky in that regard.

He’s a bluffer. I expect on the 3rd February we’ll get an interview from him telling us that the summer window will be difficult due to the World Cup and that we will have to be patient again in order to secure our top targets. I am already braced for us entering next pre-season woefully short of numbers and scrambling around in the last few weeks of the window for whatever scraps are left on the table. We are the easiest football club in the world to predict.
The summer will be a tough market and I suspect very slow with the world cup. We have to get a right back this month even if there is a January mark-up on him, it will be worth it if he can go straight into the team. Frees up O'Brien for centre back, gives us balance and more pace and an ability to play a higher line. Our CBs were terrible V Brentford, kept getting caught out for pace. The map has been drawn and Wolves will do the exact same on Wed if no changes made.

The manager and the Director of Football or recruitment team need to be fully aligned on incoming players. Once compromises start being made for example, the manager getting a few of his own signings while recruitment brings in others, you end up with situations like West Ham now, or Everton over the past ten years.

If the club were open for business I honestly think there would be actual links to rightbacks by now. There is money available but the club thinking spending it in Jan is a completely different thing. Bobble did say "if the right deal comes along" . That seems to indicate the club are hoping to wait till summer unless a cheap option becomes available which won't happen in Jan during Afcon.
Think Bobble is just like us, guesswork at best...
Club seems to have really tightened any leaks, no early team announcemenmts, updates on injuries very quiet. Hoping that the same applies to our targets although I know it is much harder to keep players agents quiet. 🤞

I’m not suggesting we sign him but he basically signed a deal you could cause ‘pay as you play ‘ . I’m sure his wages rise by about 90% if he plays . The figure I saw was basic £6k and an additional 54k if he plays .

I treat pay as you play much like muted swap deals but in Wilson’s case it is based in fact .

Yeah he's basically on a pay as you play. Suspect its partly why hes trying to leave...
