Thing with Dovbyk is that he is 28 and has had one good season. Top scorer in La Liga with 24 goals (7 pens) for Girona. Impressing the Friedkins enough to pay 6 times the price he was sold for the previous summer.Some nice goals and hold up play on there, makes him look tailor made for the prem. my one massive concern would be what on Earth is wrong with the lad if they think Beto is a better option?
He's not been good for Roma and the current head coach doesn't rate him. Overprized, overpaid and without any real resell value. Just like Beto.
Dovbyk needs a move. Same with Beto. And Beto has been half decent in Serie A. I don't think it'll happen, but it could make some sense.
Pretty sure its been said that Friedkins want to run Everton and Roma separately and try to avoid or limit doing business between the clubs. As such business potentially could cause issues with UEFA in the future.
