January Transfer Window 2026

I think it is more than just a striker, teams just double up on Grealish and NDaiye, our creative outlets.

If we have modern full backs going past them I think it will lead to more space for our most creative players and also increase deliveries in to the box especially if they have delivery like Digne did...
It's absolutely irrelevant if there is no movement in the box and no one who can finish. We are getting in and around the box way more than we have done in previous seasons and there are lots of dangerous balls going on every game with no on the end of them.

I see the Spurs fans are not overly enamoured by Richarlison describing him as a rancid player and a donkey so I hope that ends talk from some people on here saying we should bring him back

So you think a better striker would get exactly the same chances as Barry. Like strikers just stand there waiting for the ball?😂😂😂😂😂
Not at all no. But Barry's been getting okay chances of 0.3xG per 90 which is slightly above average in the league so far. If you want to drop 70m you might get a Woltemade who also has 0.3...or Gyokeres or Ekitike who have 0.4.

What I'm trying to get at is the difference between how Barry has been playing for us now and a decent prem striker is not as big as people think and can easily be explained by a) finishing variance that will balance out and b) settling into the league and team.

If you want we can go out and throw 70m on a striker and maybe get a Sesko who has one whole more goal. Or we can try and develop the 27m striker we just bought who has banged goals in everywhere he's ever been?

Wolfermade has 5 goals and Ekitike 7. That’s probably the stat you need to compare. Not sure if you actually watch football though.

Completely agree with this , no argument we need a striker but our lack of functioning full backs really impacts on us . Seems so incredibly basic

Look at his goals to game ratio since he`s been there and come back to me with that one.

He`d instantly improve our forward line.

You do realise that same as this place, other fan forums have a percentage of lunatics too !
