James Rodriguez

Ohh come on he was rinsing us dry with the big wage he was on. Sure he had great moments but they were too fleeting and even at the end of Ancelotti's reign he was giving off I can't be arsed vibes towards playing for us
Lies. He was genuinely injured. Plus he bypassed that summer's Copa America to get back to fitness which he did but unfortunately Carlo went back to Madrid and Rafael came in

Netflix avoids an airbrush of his time at ‘Eberton’ albeit for a few minutes only but he at least also manages to expose the horror merchant Benitez in his self-indulgent decision to move him on. Interesting that James flipped out on his first day in England before signing and wanted to leave before Ancelotti sorted it. Bloody hell the touch, the vision, the goals, the assist for Richy in Mordor, the bloody calf injury, the friggin mental decision to hire that clown Beneathus and how he never kicked ball in front of Evertonians. Agonising. Technically the best player for half a century. The extraordinary ability. The fleeting moments in life. Colombia’s best football player ever easily.

He certainly is/was a Beautiful player, But it's another generational call. Valderrama had the biggest impact on the game in Columbia and he was class. And he also had the greatest head of hair going.

Being in constant pain from his frequent injuries could of dashed his enthusiasm to get on the pitch , exceptional on the pitch but he was a luxury player who was only going to be fit 15 games a season. It was also evident rafael despised James and was factor in his departure
Bit like Greallsh then but even more talented. I like having the occasional luxury player instead of a team of Kevin Kilbanes:)

This is one older player In could get behind us re-signing. Moyes would probably play James as a holding midfielder ffs!

Pure class, playing footy in show motion, another level to what is around him, make the team and other players around him better - just different gravy.

One player I will watch at the wc, along with the Georgian lad, kravathingy.
