Lars Jacobsen is set to sign for Blackburn Rovers this week having decided not to renew his contract at Everton.
The Danish international centre-half is out of contract and has decided to leave Everton for the offer of a better chance of first-team football under Sam Allardyce. The 29-year-old signed a one-year deal with Everton last summer but missed much of the season with injury.
