It's paper talk, and you can't really blame him if he wasn't guaranteed first choice, at his age he just wants to be playing regularly

Lars Jacobsen is set to sign for Blackburn Rovers this week having decided not to renew his contract at Everton.

The Danish international centre-half is out of contract and has decided to leave Everton for the offer of a better chance of first-team football under Sam Allardyce. The 29-year-old signed a one-year deal with Everton last summer but missed much of the season with injury.

You actully believe this article, come on I have seen this articel or similar article ever since the season was over and nothing more has been written apart from the name of the club has change, don't waste you time reading junk like these.

Just wait for the news from the OS, and it should confirm if he is staying or left for another club.

On Sky Sports now:

Everton defender Lars Jacobsen is set to make a decision on his future after being linked with a switch to Blackburn.

The Danish defender moved to Goodison Park as a free agent last summer, penning a 12-month contract with the Toffees.

He found it difficult to establish himself in the side after being initially hampered by injury but produced several good performances towards the end of the season.
Jacobsen has previously insisted he would like to remain at Everton and his agent has claimed the club are keen to keep him.

But reports in the Danish press now suggest he is close to signing a deal with Premier League rivals Blackburn.
Rovers manager Sam Allardyce is currently working to strengthen his squad and is understood to have identified Jacobsen as a top target.

Ekstra Bladet
claims the 29-year-old could be set to undergo a medical with Blackburn on Monday.
"I have no comment on concrete club names, but it is correct that Lars is really close to a decision on his future," Jacobsen's agent Karsten Aabriknk told Ekstra Bladet.

Sounds like BS to me.

Especially seeing as they think he's a centre half
