2025/26 Jack Grealish

Well, maybe it's a chance to see what might be next season's pairing of Ndiaye back on the left and Dibling on the right.

I think Dibling will struggle to get starts, barring an inevitable injury or 2 for others.

For the right side I think he'll be behind Illy, Mcneil, Rohl, Alcaraz and for the left side I think he'll be behind Illy, Mcneil.

His best bet atm is getting 10 minutes at the end of a game and producing something that gets him back into the managers thinking.

Not sure about Alcaraz outside central midfield. Rohl maybe if we are playing defensively but he loses too much possession atm. I agree Moyes probably has him behind Ndiaye and McNeil on both sides.

I’d be banging on the door asking for 90 mins in the reserves. Whether he’s doing that and being told we can’t risk atm, may well be the case. Same with Aznou.

We’re definitely going to miss him. The only positive is, if we do buy him in the summer, this will keep his price down a touch
I’d be happy to keep him around the place on the understanding the wages we pay are coming off the transfer fee.

The impact he has on the team morale is worth that. Look at the way he is with JOB. Gets along well with KDH too

Or - dose him up on cortisone, wrap his foot in bubble wrap and put a big boot on. 🥲

he needs help it’s like moyes has done something to him

mods? can get dave to stay on topic and talk about jack not moyes

everyones sick of him
Heard a rumour Moyes shagged his daughter.

Gonna miss Grealish aren't we? Wonder if it means we might dip into the market or 'go with what we've got' like it's the broke Kenwright era all over?

Might be the last we’ve seen of him. He’s going to get better offers from clubs with bigger ambitions than us.
Depends. He might just want to play football. His City experience might put him off. I suspect another plus for us is he has a young family so staying in the north West might suit him.

Watch him go to Spurs now ive said that...

The quality Grealish offers isn’t available - that is, free of the age or injury prone factors - for any fee we’re currently able / willing to pay. At least, at this stage in our resurrection. So if he still wants to be here next season (which is what we’re looking at now, tbh) I’d find a way to make it happen.

Sure, Jack’s direct output has slackened recently, but his ability to keep possession, to win fouls and take the pressure off us, to find the right controlled pass, to attract defenders, is all of a quality we would have to break the bank to acquire by another means. He also offers so much that is unquantifiable - personality, publicity, winning mentality, respect and affection - and would I think be able to do so for another season.

He’s currently the only way we get that sort of quality in our team. Is that worth more at the moment than getting a younger, nippier, left-sided player? For now, I think yes. I accept we do need pace, but of all the players investment in pace should come at the expense of, Grealish is not the one.

Those who would say he’d be a poor of funds next season do, IMHO, know the cost of everything but the value of nothing.
