Well I think he had an illness then got a red card.

I agree on your overall point that he was a bit overused pre Christmas, but he clearly hasn't been overused in the last month. He has only started 3 of the last 6, one of which he didn't finish due to a sending off.

Its extremely disappointing, and I'm not going to defend the clubs overall record with injuries and getting players fit. But this one does just feel like a bit of horrible luck for both Jack and us.

What are you actually on about? At least blame the medical science people who are in charge of recovery and injury prevention. If they had any indication that a player is suffering from burn out or an increased risk of injury, it is their responsibility to make sure it's managed correctly.

And they probably did. Obviously Dave is a lot more experienced than Everton’s medical staff tho, he’s wasted on here.

Any decent manager rests up a player in Grealish's circumstances, not work them until they get an injury.

I didn’t pay much attention to Grealish when he was at City and didn’t really know what we were getting when we signed him. While he does chip in with goals and assists, I think his main contribution is world class hold up play. The opposition simply cannot dispossess him and usually end up giving away a free kick. Apparently he is the most fouled player in the league this season. This is obviously an amazing asset when playing away, but is perhaps less useful at home. Could be one of the reasons we look so much better when playing away this season? Just a thought.

Spot on mate some people are more interested in how many xGs he scored or if he tops the progressive carries chart utter guff mate open your eyes and he is boss!
