Well I think he had an illness then got a red card.
I agree on your overall point that he was a bit overused pre Christmas, but he clearly hasn't been overused in the last month. He has only started 3 of the last 6, one of which he didn't finish due to a sending off.
Its extremely disappointing, and I'm not going to defend the clubs overall record with injuries and getting players fit. But this one does just feel like a bit of horrible luck for both Jack and us.
Earlier in the season perhaps, but certainly not recently. 3 starts in 6 matches is not a workload that you would call excessiveThere's been a cumulative effect on his body. He should have been played more sparingly but the manager has failed to make that decision.

This isn't being wise after the event either. I've been calling for Grealish to be played less often well before the Christmas run of games.
I'm pretty sure that's the reason he wanted to leave City. He's the type of player who wants to play every minute of every game and I respect that a lot. He's played about 4 games for City in the 2nd half of last season and this season hels played 20 matches for us.
Unreal.
Jack is not a lad that will accept a rest, you might find a few out there that just happy to sit out and take a wage. He's played about 4 games for City in the 2nd half of last season and this season hels played 20 matches for us.
