Well I think he had an illness then got a red card.

I agree on your overall point that he was a bit overused pre Christmas, but he clearly hasn't been overused in the last month. He has only started 3 of the last 6, one of which he didn't finish due to a sending off.

Its extremely disappointing, and I'm not going to defend the clubs overall record with injuries and getting players fit. But this one does just feel like a bit of horrible luck for both Jack and us.

There's been a cumulative effect on his body. He should have been played more sparingly but the manager has failed to make that decision.

This isn't being wise after the event either. I've been calling for Grealish to be played less often well before the Christmas run of games.

Message I received before.

You don't know what you're talking about Dave.

Stop embarrassing yourself.

He's played about 4 games for City in the 2nd half of last season and this season hels played 20 matches for us.

Unreal.
I'm pretty sure that's the reason he wanted to leave City. He's the type of player who wants to play every minute of every game and I respect that a lot.

I'm not disagreeing that he's played a little bit more than you'd want. Mainly due to the fact we don't have a proper squad.

But the injury has happened at a point where he has played only half the matches in the last month and has had his minutes reduced a lot. So it's really not a clear cut discussion point, especially about who is to blame. You could be right, but none of us know right now. Given the timing, I probably lean towards it being just terrible luck.

Jack is not a lad that will accept a rest, you might find a few out there that just happy to sit out and take a wage.

If he believes he's up to it, he's gonna play every game he can.

If you had ever played football you would understand it.

I suppose we overplayed KDH aswell after lack of gametime at chelsea.
